Our industry simply wouldn’t be possible without the determination and generosity of people. Together, we share in a common cause.
We work to make main streets, high streets, town centres, and all the places in between, everything they can be – for the betterment of everyone, both now and into the future.
The outcomes we achieve within the main street community is the sum of so many parts. It really does take a village, and I am so proud to be part of a community that’s so big-hearted and willing to openly share experience and learnings.
Mainstreet Australia has just wrapped up what can only be described as a truly outstanding 3-day conference in the heart of City of Stonnington, which brought together 200 delegates from all around Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
The outcomes of this year’s conference couldn’t have been achieved without the collective efforts of Mainstreet Australia’s industry leaders Troy Stuchbree, James McInerney, Joyce Watts, Olivia McLean, Samantha Choudhury, Stavros Zikou, Lucinda Bakhach, Cinzia Crea, Amanda McEvoy, Tennille Mutton and Elizabeth Joldeski.
Mainstreet Australia’s Committee Members and Executive Officer, Elizabeth Joldeski, work tirelessly to deliver for our industry – and the momentous success of this year’s conference (which consisted of a marketing masterclass, 3 walking tours, 5 keynote presentations, 3 panel discussions, 2 social events, important conversations and networking) is a testament to exactly that.
When you have a collective group of amazing humans supporting the growth and development of our main streets and precincts – the magic happens.
Special thanks to our host and Major Sponsor City of Stonnington, Georgie Birch, Carine Bourcier, and all our event partners Shopology, Assemblo and Streetlife!
Until next Conference,
Georgina Pikoulas
Former Mainstreet Australia President
