A dynamic professional with economic and/or commercial property development experience, in either the private or public sector, you will build relationships with existing businesses, and market commercial and industrial opportunity to potential businesses, encouraging and enabling investment in the region. With previous experience in marketing for investment attraction, you are also able to analyse economic data and statistics to identify and develop growth opportunities.

The City Economy Coordinator sits within the Economic Development, International and Investment branch and offers an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of business grant programs and broader economic development initiatives that contribute to Melbourne’s economic growth and business development priorities.

As our city enters a major period of population growth, investment, development and transformation, we're establishing a new Place & Strategic Partnerships team focused on shaping great places, strengthening our local economy, building powerful partnerships and turning opportunities into action.
